Walking and talking

Our last month in Atlanta has been momentous. Eve finally started saying “mama” after weeks (long ones) of talk about dad, the dogs, and saying hi to anyone and everyone. 🙂

(Baby talk is weird. It starts all over the place, then moves into repeats (“da”) that are put on loop alllllll the time until you realize sometimes it’s on purpose, and they’ve been trying to communicate with your clueless self on a couple of key issues (like how cool the family pet is) for quite some time.)

The curious creature also took her first steps. Related fun includes: 1.  Careening between rooms with her learning walker (suggested by auntie hill).  2. Dancing.  3. Being pushed around on the wagon at daycare and waving like she’s on a parade float. Grinning. evidence below.
